About Me
I’m a writer, editor, and content strategist who lives in beautiful Ottawa, Ontario. I help organizations communicate clearly and meaningfully.
In my career, I’ve done everything from planning content for websites, annual reports and sponsored inserts, to writing speeches, marketing copy, newsletters and web content. I’ve also worked as a freelance feature writer for both consumer and corporate publications, including The Telegram, Downhome, and Studio Magazine, amongst others.
Regardless of the context, my focus is always on creating a unique and compelling storytelling product that really speaks to its audience.
I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with subject matter experts in diverse fields, outrageously talented creatives and a countless knowledgeable professionals. I have learned from all of them and bring this experience to each new project I take on.
I hold an honours bachelor's degree in French and English literature from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and a public relations degree (Dean's List) from Mounts Saint Vince University. I am currently enrolled in the Editing program at Simon Fraser University and am a member of Editors Canada.
